Position Summary

Seeking a Product Owner to support the final stages of development, pilot execution, and rollout of a new Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) experience. The Product Owner will serve as the primary business liaison for a dedicated Scrum team, ensuring successful delivery of business capabilities while supporting change management, stakeholder communications, product demonstrations, and pilot activities.

Key Responsibilities

Product Ownership & Agile Delivery

Serve as Product Owner for a Scrum team delivering enhancements to the RMD platform.

Manage and prioritize product backlog items based on business value and strategic objectives.

Partner with business stakeholders, technology teams, and program leadership to define requirements and acceptance criteria.

Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.

Ensure delivered functionality aligns with business goals and customer needs.

Pilot & Business Readiness Support

Support the execution and monitoring of the RMD product pilot.

Coordinate with business stakeholders to gather feedback and prioritize enhancements.

Track pilot outcomes and recommend improvements for broader rollout.

Change Management & Stakeholder Communications

Partner with Change Management teams to articulate newly delivered capabilities and business benefits.

Develop product communications and enablement materials to support adoption.

Provide ongoing updates regarding product progress, releases, and upcoming functionality.

Product Demonstrations & Stakeholder Engagement

Conduct product demonstrations for business stakeholders, leadership teams, and internal partner organizations.

Communicate complex business and technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Act as a trusted advisor between business and technology teams.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of Product Owner or Product Management experience.

Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and product development lifecycle.

Experience writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and managing product backlogs.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within wealth management, financial services, retirement products, or advisor platforms.
• Knowledge of Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs), retirement accounts, or related regulatory processes.
• Experience supporting pilot launches, product rollouts, or change management initiatives.
• Familiarity with advisor-facing or client-facing digital platforms.
